Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager - Troy, New York

This opportunity calls for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead and oversee pharmacy operations in a retail setting. The role is based in Ogdensburg, NY, and offers either interim or permanent placement with a schedule designed for work-life balance:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM 7 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM 3 PM
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Register as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations.
• Manage all pharmacy operations, including budget oversight, payroll, scheduling, third-party administration, and inventory management to optimize financial performance.
• Lead pharmacy support personnel by providing guidance, training, performance reviews, and ensuring adherence to policies.
• Engage in business development within the store and local community to enhance the pharmacy's role and services.
• Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, dosages, interactions, and side effects while monitoring patient health and compliance.
• Maintain quality improvement programs and ensure a safe, clean, and organized pharmacy environment.
• Complete continuing education as required and fulfill any additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid New York State pharmacy license.
• Immunization certification with confidence in administering all vaccines.
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager is preferred.
• Strong leadership and compliance skills within retail pharmacy operations.
