Pharmacy Manager in Troy, NY
This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced pharmacy professional to lead and manage a pharmacy department, ensuring high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. Serving as the supervising pharmacist, you will be responsible for overseeing pharmacy operations, guiding staff, and contributing to business growth and community health initiatives.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM 3:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
Responsibilities:
- Register with the state board of pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations, along with company policies.
- Oversee all pharmacy operations including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management to ensure financial viability.
- Manage pharmacy support personnel, including performance reviews and training.
- Ensure all pharmacy associates complete required company training.
- Engage in business development activities within the store and community.
- Provide patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
- Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication uses, interactions, and side effects, ensuring optimal therapy adherence.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety.
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and department facilities according to legal and company standards.
- Complete continuing education as required by state regulations.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Valid New York Pharmacy License.
- Immunization Certification and comfort with administering all vaccines.
- Recent experience in a pharmacy manager role preferred.
