Hospital Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Ventura, California

An interim leadership opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager to oversee the Oncology Infusion Center operations in Ventura, CA. This role involves managing a specialized team dedicated to providing critical oncology infusion services while ensuring compliance with high standards for safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of 6 full-time staff, including 3 pharmacists and 3 pharmacy technicians
• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for the pharmacy department
• Ensure adherence to oncology infusion workflows and USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards
• Collaborate directly with the Director of Pharmacy to maintain operational excellence and regulatory compliance

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active California Pharmacist License required
• Minimum of 5 years of pharmacist experience with a focus on oncology infusion
• Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) designation preferred
• Demonstrated leadership capability and prior experience managing pharmacy operations
• Strong knowledge of USP standards and oncology pharmacy practice workflows
