Per Diem Pharmacy Manager in Westfield, MA

A specialty home infusion pharmacy in Westfield, MA, is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee operations during daytime hours. This role is ideal for an experienced PIC looking for a part-time opportunity in a unique pharmacy environment. The position is temporary, supporting a newly established pharmacy with a very low volume of prescriptions until a permanent candidate is found.

Location: Westfield, MA
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge and take full responsibility for pharmacy operations
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain pharmacy license displayed prominently
• Oversee dispensing activities in a specialty home infusion setting
• Support the pharmacy team with professional guidance and leadership during the contract period
• Work closely with clients and staff to maintain quality assurance and patient safety

Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts pharmacy license is required
• Proven experience as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
• Background in home infusion, specialty infusion, or specialty pharmacy strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage the pharmacys operations effectively
