Retail Pharmacy Manager in Williamsport, PA

Oversee the operations of a retail pharmacy in Williamsport, PA, leading the pharmacy team to deliver exceptional service while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. This direct hire opportunity offers a dynamic work schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts, totaling approximately 69 bi-weekly hours.

Setting: Retail Pharmacy
Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts: Typically 9 am 7 pm
• 11-hour shifts: Typically 9 am 8 pm
• 12-hour shifts: Either 8 am 8 pm or 9 am 9 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and engage pharmacy associates, aligning team efforts with department and company strategies.
• Ensure prescription accuracy by performing Drug Utilization Reviews and final quality assurance in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Manage inventory and work alongside district management to optimize stock levels and drive script growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Direct pharmacy staff training, coaching, and discipline to maintain team performance and minimize turnover.
• Deliver excellent customer service, resolving complaints and providing healthcare counseling to foster trust and loyalty.
• Maintain pharmacy security and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate daily pharmacy department operations, including cycle counts, inventory management, and managing will-call prescriptions.
• Collaborate with physicians and use reference materials to resolve prescription-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree required.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
