Home Infusion Hospital Pharmacy Technician in Anaheim, CA

A specialty infusion pharmacy in Orange County is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support hospital and home infusion operations. This contract position offers an immediate start with a 13-week duration, with potential to convert to permanent employment. The role supports patient care by accurately preparing and dispensing medications while adhering to regulatory standards.

Location: Anaheim, CA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately input patient demographics, insurance details, and prescription orders
• Label and package injectable, oral, and topical medications per patient orders
• Prepare shipping documents, coordinate medication shipments, and confirm deliveries
• Reconcile and unpack medication shipments against packing slips
• Maintain IV room cleanliness and disinfection following USP <797> guidelines
• Provide outstanding customer service via verbal, written, and in-person communication
• Support 340B program compliance and pharmacy operational needs

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active California Pharmacy Technician license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in hospital, ambulatory care, or infusion pharmacy settings
• Skilled in handling intravenous (IV) medication preparations
• Local candidates preferred for timely availability and commuting ease
