Pharmacy Technician in Arlington Heights, IL

This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician to support a closed-door pharmacy operation in Arlington Heights, IL. The role is a 6-month contract assignment with an ongoing potential, working Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This position requires flexibility to assist across various areas including pharmacy operations, prescription refill services (PRS), and warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacy staff in daily operations to ensure efficient workflow
• Perform prescription filling and labeling with accuracy
• Manage inventory and assist in warehouse-related tasks as needed
• Support prescription refill services and other pharmacy functions
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth, closed-door pharmacy environment

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license is required
• PTCB Certification is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of strong pharmacy technician experience preferred
• Ability to adapt and work in different areas within the pharmacy
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
