Mail Order LTC Pharmacy Technician | Arlington, Texas

This opportunity calls for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support a Long Term Care (LTC) and Mail-Order pharmacy environment. Scheduled for the 2nd shift from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, this contract-to-hire role offers an 8-week initial assignment with the potential for direct hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions for pharmacist verification in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Support pharmacists by multitasking efficiently and handling complex automated dispensing systems.
• Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs.
• Collaborate with Billing Supervisor to enter data for prescription fulfillment and reimbursement.
• Participate in prepackaging medications in compliance with standards and government regulations.
• Assist pharmacists with final prescription checks and coordinate timely medication delivery to customers.
• Help maintain inventory accuracy by receiving, rotating medications, and conducting physical inventories.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment by checking equipment calibration, safety, and cleanliness alongside Technician Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License required.
• PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) or NHA (National Healthcareer Association) national certification required.
• Sterile compounding experience is a plus.
• IV Certification preferred.
• Proven dependability and punctuality essential.
