Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician - Arlington, TX

Join a dynamic pharmacy environment as a Compounding Pharmacy Technician, supporting critical medication preparation and dispensing functions. This role involves hands-on compounding, ensuring medication accuracy, and maintaining pharmacy cleanliness and compliance within a well-structured team. Five positions are available for this contract opportunity in Arlington, TX.

Schedule:

• Two shifts: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• Three shifts: 12:00 PM 8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications and supplies adhering to company policies and state regulations.
• Accurately compound medications and perform pharmaceutical calculations to verify correct dosages.
• Properly label and package compounded medications.
• Document and report medication-related incidents effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of pharmacy workspaces and laminar flow hoods.
• Inspect and report any pharmacy equipment malfunctions.
• Keep detailed records including temperature logs and cleaning schedules.
• Support overall pharmacy organization and regulatory compliance efforts.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in compounding or home infusion settings.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Texas.
• Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
• IV Certification is a must.
