A retail pharmacy in Ashburn, VA is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a per diem assignment from June 22nd through July 11th. This opportunity is ideal for candidates experienced with the PioneerRx system, as the pharmacist covering during this period does not use this software and will rely on your expertise.

Location: Ashburn, VA
Assignment Dates: June 22, 2026 July 11, 2026 (Training provided from June 22 to June 24)
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM 1:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Utilize the PioneerRx system for prescription processing and documentation
  • Collaborate effectively with the pharmacist and other team members to ensure smooth workflow
  • Maintain detailed and compliant records following pharmacy regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns

Desired Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting
  • Proficiency in using PioneerRx pharmacy software is mandatory
  • Strong understanding of prescription processing and pharmacy inventory management
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
