Inpatient Pharmacy Technician | Atlanta, Georgia
An opportunity is available for an experienced IV/Chemo Pharmacy Technician to support a specialized oncology infusion center in Canton, GA. This role focuses on hospital inpatient pharmacy operations within an outpatient oncology infusion setting, providing critical medication preparation and administration support for chemotherapy and hematology treatments.
Location: Canton, GA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Contract Duration: Approximately 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer chemotherapy and hematology medications in accordance with established protocols.
- Utilize IV start techniques and access implanted ports to deliver treatments safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to monitor patient responses and maintain accurate medication records.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety procedures specific to oncology pharmacy services.
Desired Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in oncology or infusion pharmacy settings.
- Certification in chemotherapy pharmacy (Chemo Cert) is required.
- Valid Georgia pharmacy technician license.
- Proficiency with IV starts and implanted port access procedures.
- Strong understanding of hospital inpatient pharmacy operations within outpatient infusion centers.
