Per Diem Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy Technician in Aurora, CO

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Pharmacy Technician with experience in hospital inpatient settings, particularly within behavioral health environments. The role involves per diem coverage through the end of December with potential for additional shifts in 2026, offering a flexible schedule to support inpatient pharmacy operations.

Schedule:

• Nov 24, 25: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Dec 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21: 10:00 AM 2:00 PM
• Additional week to be determined
• Open availability for further coverage dates in 2026

Responsibilities:

• Assist with medication order entry (training provided)
• Utilize OmniCell automation technology (training provided)
• Manage brand and generic medication knowledge for accurate dispensing
• Perform pharmacy technician duties in compliance with state and national regulations
• Support the behavioral health pharmacy inpatient setting efficiently and accurately

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Colorado Pharmacy Technician License required
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Prior pharmacy technician experience, preferably in hospital or inpatient environments
• Knowledge of brand and generic medications essential
• Experience with OmniCell automation technology is a plus but not required
• Local candidates only due to onsite requirements
