Per Diem Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Technician | Aurora, Colorado

A Behavioral Health facility in Aurora, CO, is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to provide vital support through the end of December, with potential for additional coverage into 2026. This role requires a dedicated individual familiar with pharmacy processes in a hospital inpatient environment, especially skilled in brand and generic medications.

Schedule/Hours:

• November 24, 25: 8am 4pm
• December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21: 10am 2pm
• One additional week TBD
• Opportunity for open availability for more coverage dates in 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Support medication order entry (training provided)
• Utilize OmniCell automation technology for medication dispensing and inventory management (training provided)
• Assist with the distribution of medications in a behavioral health setting
• Ensure accuracy in preparing and dispensing medications, focusing on brand and generic knowledge
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to maintain efficient pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Colorado pharmacy technician license
• National pharmacy technician certification (CPhT)
• Previous pharmacy technician experience, preferably in hospital or inpatient settings
• Familiarity with OmniCell automation a plus
• Strong knowledge of brand and generic medications
• Local candidates preferred due to on-site requirements
