Per Diem Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Technician | Aurora, Colorado

Join a behavioral health facility in Aurora, CO, seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for per diem shifts through the end of December, with potential for additional coverage in 2026. This role supports inpatient hospital pharmacy operations, focusing on both brand and generic medications in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Nov 24, 25: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Dec 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21: 10:00 AM 2:00 PM
• One additional week to be determined
• Open availability preferred for future 2026 dates

Key Responsibilities:

• Support inpatient medication dispensing and assist pharmacy team in behavioral health setting
• Manage and process medication orders, including brand and generic drugs
• Utilize OmniCell automation systems to ensure accurate medication storage and dispensing (training provided)
• Assist with order entry and inventory management (training provided)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Colorado pharmacy technician license required
• National pharmacy technician certification required
• Prior pharmacy technician experience in hospital inpatient or behavioral health settings
• Familiarity with OmniCell automation systems is a strong plus
• Knowledge of brand and generic medications essential
• Local candidates only, due to onsite requirements
