Retail Mail Order Pharmacy Technician - Avon, IN

This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced Pharmacy Technicians with a background in high-volume retail or mail order settings. The position is contract to hire, with a 26-week duration and intent for direct hire.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 2nd shift: 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm (initially 8:00 am to 5:00 pm day shift until evening pharmacists are ready)
• Possible weekend shifts

Work Environment:

• Mail Order Pharmacy
• Specialty Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process prescription orders in a high-volume mail order or specialty pharmacy setting
• Support pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy while handling prescriptions and customer requests
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other healthcare staff to meet workflow demands

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years current or very recent pharmacy technician experience
• Proven experience in high-volume retail or mail order environments
• Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician License
• Dependable and reliable work ethic essential for success in this role
