Retail Pharmacy Technician in Battle Creek, MI

This role is for a Pharmacy Technician primarily focused on retail pharmacy operations within a retail environment. The position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity and is based in Battle Creek, MI.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process prescriptions in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Utilize the Pioneer RX computer system to manage prescription records.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing customer service.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and coordinate with suppliers.
• Follow all regulatory guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Adapt to rotating start times and shift schedules as required.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8.5-hour shifts.
• Rotating start times: 7:30 am, 8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:30 am.
• Pharmacy closes at 6:00 pm on Fridays.
• No weekend hours initially, with the possibility of future changes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Michigan pharmacy technician license.
• Experience as a pharmacy technician, particularly in a retail setting.
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX pharmacy software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
