A full-time Long-Term Care Pharmacy Technician role is available in Omaha, NE, offering an opportunity to contribute to the accurate dispensing and management of medications in a dynamic pharmacy setting. This 12-week contract position with temp-to-perm potential is ideal for technicians seeking to apply their skills in long-term care pharmacy operations.

Schedule/Hours:

Monday through Friday
Day shift: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Location:

Omaha, NE 68137

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately pack and fill medications for long-term care facilities
Perform data entry tasks related to prescriptions and inventory
Communicate effectively with healthcare providers via phone to clarify prescriptions and medication orders

Qualifications and Experience:

Current Nebraska Pharmacy Technician License is required
Minimum of 1 year pharmacy technician experience
Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred but not mandatory
Experience in long-term care pharmacy is advantageous but not essential
Ability to start immediately is highly desirable
