Outpatient Pharmacy Technician | Bensalem, Pennsylvania

A pharmacy technician role is available with a focus on both hospital outpatient and retail pharmacy settings. This opportunity suits candidates with solid experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments and a commitment to accuracy and patient care.

Location:

• Philadelphia, PA (primary)
• Lancaster, PA (retail position available)

Schedule:

• Philadelphia: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 8.5-hour shifts
• Lancaster: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., no weekends or on-call required

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications in compliance with hospital and retail pharmacy guidelines
• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and patient counseling
• Maintain inventory and perform quality control checks
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements including PA Pharmacy Technician registration
• Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and healthcare staff

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital outpatient settings
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and/or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification required
• Compliance with Pennsylvanias pharmacy technician registration requirements effective June 28
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
