Inpatient Pharmacy Technician - Bloomington, Wisconsin

This opportunity offers a rewarding role as a Pharmacy Technician within a dynamic inpatient hospital environment. The position is a 13-week contract located in Richland Center, WI, providing hands-on experience in a busy healthcare setting that utilizes Pyxis automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Restock Pyxis units and check for outdated medications.
• Replenish medications, intravenous (IV) products, and supplies.
• Enter charges accurately into the system.
• Order and receive drug shipments promptly.
• Monitor storage temperatures to ensure compliance.
• Prepare sterile products, including chemotherapy medications.
• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the cleanroom.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• 8 or 10-hour shifts available.
• Every fourth weekend shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in inpatient pharmacy settings.
• Proficiency in sterile compounding techniques.
• Familiarity with Pyxis automation systems.
• Valid Wisconsin pharmacy technician license required.
