A growing closed-door long-term care pharmacy in Foxborough is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technicians to join their evening shift team. This is an excellent direct hire opportunity for technicians looking to build their pharmacy career in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Multiple openings are available, and the client is open to trainee technicians, state-licensed technicians, and nationally certified technicians.

Position Details

• Position Type: Direct Hire
• Shift: Evening Shift
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 3:30 PM 12:00 AM
• Weekend Rotation: Required
• Start Date: ASAP
• Setting: Closed-Door Long-Term Care Pharmacy
• Software: Frameworks (training available)
• Prescription Volume: Approximately 600 prescriptions daily

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications for dispensing using appropriate packaging methods such as blister packs and unit-dose packaging
• Assist with medication ordering, receiving, stocking, and inventory management
• Monitor medication storage conditions and expiration dates
• Maintain accurate patient profiles and medication records
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to ensure timely medication delivery to residents

Requirements

• Active and clear Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license
• Open to trainee license holders
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred
• PTCB certification preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Compensation

• Trainee Technician: $19/hour
• State Licensed Technician: $22/hour
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB): $25/hour
• Performance-based bonus incentives available
