IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician | Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

This position focuses on providing skilled pharmacy technician support in a home infusion environment. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to ensure accurate preparation and dispensing of medications, including sterile IV admixtures and TPN, while adhering to USP 797 clean room guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions and prepare intravenous (IV) medications for patient use.
• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to accurately enter prescription data for processing and reimbursement.
• Prepackage medications in compliance with government regulations and quality standards.
• Assist the Pharmacist with final verification of prescriptions, including medication counting and packaging.
• Coordinate timely and accurate delivery of medications to customers.
• Support Pharmacy Management with inventory control, including receiving, rotating, and tracking medication lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Maintain clean room practices and ensure sterile compounding protocols are followed.

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Technician license valid in Oklahoma.
• Experience in home infusion or inpatient hospital pharmacy settings.
• Proficient in sterile compounding and knowledgeable of USP 797 clean room regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work efficiently under supervision while managing multiple tasks.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
