Pharmacy Technician | Bronx, New York

Join an established closed-door long-term care facility in Bardonia, New York, as a Day Shift Production Pharmacy Technician. This direct hire position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with approximately 600 prescriptions filled daily. The right candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting resident care through accurate medication preparation and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications in correct packaging formats such as blister packs and unit-dose for timely delivery to residents.
• Assist with medication ordering, receiving, stocking, and ensure proper storage while monitoring expiration dates.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and medication records to support safe pharmacy operations.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to promote an efficient workflow.
• Work Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with rotating weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician.
• NY State Pharmacy Technician License preferred but not required.
• PTCB certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to adapt quickly to Frameworks software; training provided.
