IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician | Camarillo, California

A long-term contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician specializing in sterile compounding within a 250-bed inpatient hospital setting. This role is located in Camarillo, CA, at a well-established medical center serving as the county hospital.

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable days and afternoon shifts
• Every other weekend required

Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding of medications
• Restock Pyxis medication dispensing units throughout the facility
• Manage incoming calls to the pharmacy and provide timely responses
• Support other inpatient pharmacy duties as needed to ensure smooth operation

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license is required
• Recent graduates are welcome to apply
• Prior training or experience with intravenous (IV) preparations is highly desirable
