A medical center pharmacy in Cambridge City, IN is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a contract position. This role is key in supporting the pharmacist and ensuring efficient pharmacy operations within a busy healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Location: Cambridge City, Indiana (Pharmacy inside a medical center)

Duration: Approximately 8+ weeks, with potential for extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist with daily tasks and medication preparation
• Perform accurate data entry into pharmacy systems
• Fill prescriptions and manage medication inventory
• Cash out patients and manage customer transactions
• Utilize New Leaf pharmacy computer system effectively

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Indiana Pharmacy Technician license
• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy technician experience
• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems, preferably New Leaf
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work well within a medical center environment and coordinate with healthcare staff
