Mail Order Long Term Care Pharmacy Technician in Carrollton, TX

A pharmaceutical environment focused on long-term care and mail-order services seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician for the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Responsibilities include accurately filling prescriptions for pharmacist verification, supporting pharmacists in various tasks, and efficiently managing a complex automated dispensing system. You will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, assisting in prescription preparation, IV compounding, and ensuring compliance with standards and government regulations. Additional duties involve data entry in coordination with the Billing Supervisor to obtain reimbursement payments, prepackaging medications, and supporting Pharmacy Management with inventory control and medication rotation. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by checking equipment calibration and cleanliness is also essential.

Desired qualifications:

• Current Texas pharmacy license
• PTCB or NHA national certification
• IV certification preferred
• Experience with sterile compounding is a plus
• Strong dependability and punctuality
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a high-volume environment
