Outpatient hospital experience is required. Candidates without outpatient hospital experience will not be considered.

What Youll Do
As a Pharmacy Technician, youll play a critical role in supporting patient care and pharmacy operations:

• Accurately process and prepare medication orders and prescriptions
• Package and dispense pre-manufactured dosage forms
• Support medication storage, preparation, labeling, and distribution systems
• Assist with controlled substance reconciliation and inventory management
• Help gather drug information for patients, providers, and care teams
• Collect patient-specific data to support pharmacotherapy decisions
• Assist with IV-to-oral conversions, renal dosing adjustments, and allergy screenings
• Calculate clinical data such as creatinine clearance to support treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with pharmacists to promote safe, effective, and cost-conscious care

What You Bring

• At least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Hospital outpatient pharmacy experience REQUIRED
• Experience handling pharmacy insurance claims
• Pioneer Rx experience preferred
• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license (required)

Pay: $21/hour
