What Youll Do

In this role, youll be deeply involved in both operational and clinical support functions, including:

• Accurately processing and dispensing prescriptions in an outpatient hospital setting
• Supporting medication preparation, packaging, and labeling according to health system standards
• Utilizing Pioneer RX for dispensing, inventory management, and workflow efficiency
• Assisting pharmacists with patient care initiatives by gathering key clinical data (renal dosing, allergies, IV-to-oral conversions, etc.)
• Supporting medication therapy monitoring and optimization efforts
• Helping prepare patient, physician, and nursing education materials
• Assisting with drug information retrieval and clinical decision support
• Participating in controlled substances processes, inventory, and compliance procedures

What You MUST Bring

This requirement is mandatory:

• Recent Outpatient Hospital Pharmacy Experience (candidates without this will not be considered)

Additionally:

• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
• Experience with pharmacy insurance claims processing
• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a clinical, fast-paced environment

Pay: $21/hour
