Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician - Cibolo, TX

Located in Cibolo, TX, this opportunity seeks skilled Compounding Pharmacy Technicians for a 13-week contract assignment, with 3-4 roles available. Work schedules include one position from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and two to three positions from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, providing varied shift options to suit your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately compound, prepare, and process prescriptions in compliance with company policies, procedures, and state regulations.
• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations to verify accurate medication dosages.
• Properly label and package compounded medications.
• Participate in identifying and reporting medication-related incidents to uphold patient safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of pharmacy work areas and laminar flow hoods.
• Inspect pharmacy equipment regularly for any malfunctions and report accordingly.
• Document pharmacy temperature logs, cleaning records, and assist in general pharmacy organization and compliance.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Texas.
• Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
• Intravenous (IV) certification required.
