Pharmacy Technician | Cibolo, Texas

This opportunity is for a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician on a 13-week contract assignment, located in Cibolo, TX. The role offers two shift options: 7 AM to 3:30 PM or 12 PM to 8 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately compound, prepare, and process prescriptions following company policies and state regulations.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and supplies.
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations to ensure medication dosages are correct.
• Properly label and package medications for distribution.
• Identify, document, and report medication-related incidents promptly.
• Maintain site and equipment by cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces and laminar flow hoods.
• Inspect pharmacy equipment, reporting any malfunctions or defects.
• Maintain pharmacy temperature logs, cleaning records, and assist with overall pharmacy organization and compliance.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Texas.
• PTCB certification.
• IV Certification.
