Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Retail Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will work closely with the pharmacist to serve patients, process prescriptions, and maintain an efficient pharmacy department. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity on the 1st shift, providing a great path to a long-term career with us.

Pharmacy Operating Hours

Monday Wednesday: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM 6:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM 2:00 PM
No late nights or weekends!

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service.
Prescription Processing: Receive prescriptions, verify validity, and accurately enter information into the pharmacy system.
Insurance Resolution: Resolve billing issues, such as rejected insurance claims and prior authorizations.
Fulfillment: Select the correct medications, measure precise dosages, and fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
Inventory Management: Sort, stock, label medications, and monitor inventory levels to keep shelves organized and compliant.

Job Requirements

Licensure: Must hold a valid Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio.
Experience: Previous experience in a retail pharmacy or similar environment is preferred.
Software: Experience with Pioneer Rx software is highly preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, data entry accuracy, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-first mindset.
