Mail Order Long Term Care Pharmacy Technician in Cleveland, OH

A pharmacy technician opportunity is available for a 13-week contract in the Cleveland, OH area, specializing in long-term care and mail order pharmacy services. This role offers a mid shift schedule that provides a balanced workday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with every other Saturday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions, non-sterile compounds, and prepare IVs in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Perform prepackaging duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
• Assist the Pharmacist with the final verification of filled prescriptions, including medication preparation and packaging for timely customer delivery.
• Support Pharmacy Management with inventory control, including receiving, rotating medications and supplies, posting lot numbers and expiration dates, and conducting physical inventory counts.
• Collaborate with the Technician Supervisor to maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring equipment is properly calibrated and safe to operate.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Ohio Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Experience in long-term care and mail order pharmacy settings preferred.
• IV compounding experience is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow regulatory standards.

Schedule:

• Mid shift: Monday to Friday 10:00 am 6:00 pm
• Every other Saturday from 12:00 pm 4:00 pm
