Pharmacy Technician | Clifton Park, New York

This role offers an opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to contribute within a Long-Term Care (LTC) Mail Order environment in Clifton Park, NY. The position focuses primarily on pharmacy order filling in a warehouse-style setting, emphasizing reliability and the potential to advance into leadership within the filling department. This is contract-to-hire with an 8-week initial duration and a strong chance for direct hire.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Four day shifts (9:00 AM 5:00 PM)
• One evening shift per week (2:00 PM 10:00 PM)
• Rotating weekends

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill pharmacy orders in a high-volume LTC mail order facility
• Perform order entry tasks ensuring precision and compliance
• Support inventory management and organization within the filling area
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow
• Demonstrate reliability and commitment to potentially grow into leadership within the department

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Minimum one year of pharmacy technician experience
• Experience with pharmacy order entry preferred
• Pharmacy technician licensure is a plus, but not required
• Background in warehouse or retail environments is highly valued as this role does not focus on direct medical interactions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
