Inpatient Pharmacy Technician - Columbus, OH

A healthcare facility in Columbus, OH is seeking four certified pharmacy technicians for a 13-week contract position starting June 14th. This opportunity focuses on hospital inpatient pharmacy support, providing essential assistance in medication preparation and distribution within an acute care environment.

Work Schedule:

• Two positions with shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, including every other weekend
• Two positions with overnight shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately in a fast-paced inpatient setting
• Assist with intravenous (IV) medication preparation (IV experience is a plus)
• Maintain compliance with hospital and pharmacy protocols
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for medication order processing and documentation

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Ohio pharmacy technician license
• National pharmacy technician certification
• Minimum of one year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Knowledge of intravenous medication preparations is advantageous
• Familiarity with the Cerner electronic medical record system preferred
