Long Term Care Mail Order Pharmacy Technician in Cuyahoga Falls, OH

A pharmacy technician position is available in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, offering a 13-week contract opportunity on a mid-shift schedule focused in a Long Term Care (LTC) Mail Order environment.

This role involves key pharmacy technician responsibilities including filling prescriptions, preparing non-sterile compounds, and IV preparations. You will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, prepackaging medications in compliance with standards and government regulations. Assisting in the final checking and packaging of prescriptions ensures accuracy and timely delivery to customers.

Additional duties include supporting pharmacy management with inventory control by receiving and rotating stock, documenting lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventory counts. Collaboration with the Technician Supervisor to maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensuring equipment calibration and cleanliness is also essential.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Every other Saturday, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Ohio Pharmacy Technician license
• Experience in Long Term Care and Mail Order pharmacy settings preferred
• IV compounding experience is a plus
• Ability to follow established procedures and maintain high accuracy standards
