Retail Pharmacy Technician in De Pere, WI

A contract opportunity is available for experienced Pharmacy Technicians specializing in retail pharmacy. This role involves providing essential pharmacy services within a retail setting, primarily focusing on filling prescriptions, assisting customers at checkout, verifying insurance coverage, managing inventory, and other related tasks.

Location: De Pere, WI, with an assignment in Black River Falls, WI

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts
• Rotating 4-hour shifts on Saturdays

Duration: 13 weeks, starting as soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions following pharmacy protocols
• Assist customers with transactions and inquiries at the checkout
• Verify insurance information to ensure proper billing and coverage
• Maintain adequate inventory levels and perform stock management duties
• Uphold all regulatory and safety standards within the pharmacy environment

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting
• Valid Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain one promptly
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service aptitude
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a pharmacy team
