Per Diem Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Technician - Denver, CO

Support inpatient behavioral health pharmacy operations with this per diem pharmacy technician role based in Denver, CO. This position offers flexible shifts through the end of December with the potential for additional coverage dates into 2026. The focus is on dispensing and supporting medication management in a hospital inpatient setting, requiring attention to detail and familiarity with brand and generic medications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support medication order entry with training provided
• Operate OmniCell automated medication systems with training available
• Assist with dispensing and stocking medications accurately within a behavioral health environment
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Colorado pharmacy technician license
• National pharmacy technician certification (ex. PTCB)
• Previous pharmacy technician experience, preferably in hospital/inpatient or behavioral health settings
• Familiarity with brand and generic medications is essential
• Experience with OmniCell is highly desirable but not required
• Must be local to Denver area with ability to cover shifts as scheduled

Schedule:

• Nov 24 & 25: 8am - 4pm
• Dec 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21: 10am - 2pm
• One additional week in December (dates TBD)
• Open availability welcomed for added shifts in 2026

Per diem status allows for a flexible schedule while gaining experience in a specialized inpatient pharmacy environment. Training is provided for order entry and OmniCell automation to ensure success on the unit.
