Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician | Des Plaines, Illinois

A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support diverse pharmacy operations. This role offers ongoing employment with a 6-month initial assignment, providing a clear path to a permanent position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a consistent workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in various pharmacy functions, including processing prescriptions and supporting home infusion services
• Perform PRS (Pharmacy Return System) duties as required
• Support warehouse operations and inventory management
• Adapt to different areas within the pharmacy to ensure smooth workflow

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
• PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) certification is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of solid pharmacy experience preferred
• Flexibility to work across multiple pharmacy sectors and tasks
