Join a specialty compounding pharmacy as a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician in Kennett Square, PA. This contract-to-hire opportunity spans 13 weeks and offers the chance to apply your expertise in sterile compounding within a dedicated facility focused on precision and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with USP and other applicable guidelines in both sterile and non-sterile compounding practices through ongoing training and competency assessments.
• Accurately read, interpret, and enter prescription orders into the pharmacy system.
• Prepare and compound medications following established formulations under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in preparing formula log sheets and maintaining proper documentation to meet regulatory standards.
• Accurately measure, mix, package, and label compounded medications.
• Manage inventory, maintaining adequate stock levels of ingredients, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support batch compounding processes, product labeling, and verification of log entries.
• Ensure timely preparation and fulfillment of compounded prescriptions for shipping or patient pickup.
• Maintain detailed records of all compounded products and document all work performed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent pharmacy technician experience.
• Proven experience in sterile compounding is required.
• Must hold an active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
