Inpatient Pharmacy Technician in Dublin, OH

A healthcare facility in Dublin, OH is seeking four certified pharmacy technicians to support their inpatient hospital pharmacy operations. This 13-week contract role starts on June 14 and offers a chance to work in a fast-paced inpatient environment using Cerner EMR.

Schedule:

• Two positions: 2:30 p.m. 11:00 p.m., every other weekend
• Two positions: 9:00 p.m. 7:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday overnight shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications for hospital inpatients accurately and efficiently
• Assist pharmacists in compounding sterile and non-sterile intravenous (IV) medications (IV experience preferred)
• Utilize Cerner EMR for medication orders and patient data management
• Maintain compliance with hospital pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications:

• Current Ohio pharmacy technician license required
• National pharmacy technician certification (e.g., PTCB or ExCPT) required
• Minimum one year of recent hospital inpatient pharmacy technician experience
• Experience with intravenous (IV) medication preparation is a significant plus
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records system preferred
