Inpatient Pharmacy Technician in Eastman, WI

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician specializing in inpatient hospital settings. This role is based in Eastman, WI, within a fast-paced inpatient environment utilizing Pyxis automation systems.

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Shift length varies between 8 and 10 hours
• Every fourth weekend: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Replenishing Pyxis machines and performing outdate checks to ensure medication safety and availability
• Restocking medications, IVs, and supplies critical to patient care
• Preparing sterile products, including chemotherapy agents, with strict adherence to safety protocols
• Entering charges accurately for billing purposes
• Ordering and receiving drug shipments to maintain inventory levels
• Monitoring storage temperatures for compliance with safety standards
• Daily cleaning and upkeep of the cleanroom environment
• Performing additional duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Wisconsin pharmacy technician license required
• Proven inpatient pharmacy experience is essential
• Proficiency in sterile compounding practices is necessary
• Experience working with Pyxis automation systems
