Pharmacy Technician | Elgin, Illinois

An ongoing opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support a closed-door pharmacy environment. This role is a six-month assignment based in Elgin, IL, offering a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The position involves assisting pharmacy operations with duties that may include pharmacy prescription services (PRS) and warehouse responsibilities, requiring flexibility to work across various areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacy staff in day-to-day operations within a closed-door pharmacy setting
• Perform pharmacy prescription services duties as needed
• Support warehouse functions related to pharmacy inventory and shipments
• Adapt to work in different areas within the pharmacy environment to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license is required
• PTCB Certification is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of solid pharmacy technician experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
