A Behavioral Health facility in Englewood, CO, is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support per diem staffing needs through the end of December, with potential for additional dates in 2026. This role focuses on inpatient hospital pharmacy services within a behavioral health environment, providing essential support for medication distribution and management.

Responsibilities:

Accurately prepare and dispense medications using knowledge of brand and generic drugs.
Utilize OmniCell automation system for medication storage and retrieval (training provided).
Perform order entry related to medication dispensing processes (training provided).
Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical staff to ensure safe and effective medication delivery.
Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards for pharmacy practice.

Qualifications:

Current and valid Colorado Pharmacy Technician license.
National Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
Proven pharmacy technician experience, preferably within hospital or inpatient settings.
Familiarity with OmniCell automation is a plus; comprehensive training will be provided.
Ability to work onsite locally in Englewood, CO.
Open availability for scheduled shifts as listed and potential coverage into 2026.

Schedule:

Nov 24, 25: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Dec 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21: 10:00 AM 2:00 PM
One additional week TBD
Opportunity for more shifts in 2026 with open scheduling.

This per diem position offers the flexibility to contribute valuable pharmacy technician support on selected dates while gaining experience in a behavioral health inpatient pharmacy environment. Training is available for order entry and OmniCell use to ensure smooth workflow integration.
