This per diem opportunity is tailored for experienced pharmacy technicians seeking to contribute to behavioral health pharmacy services. Working within a hospital inpatient setting, you will support medication dispensing and management while enhancing patient care through accurate and knowledgeable pharmacy practices.

Location: Englewood, CO
Schedule:

November 24, 25: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21: 10:00 AM 2:00 PM
One additional week in December (dates TBD)
Open availability encouraged for additional coverage in 2026

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in dispensing medications accurately within a behavioral health environment
Manage brand and generic drug knowledge confidently
Perform order entry processes (training provided)
Utilize OmniCell automation system for medication management (training provided)
Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and safety standards

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Active Colorado pharmacy technician license required
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required
Prior experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a hospital or inpatient pharmacy
Familiarity with OmniCell automation is a plus, but willingness to learn is essential
Strong understanding of brand and generic medications
Local candidates preferred for this position
