Per Diem Retail Pharmacy Tech | Fairfax, Virginia

A retail pharmacy in Broadlands, VA is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a per diem opportunity covering June 22nd through July 11th. This role requires proficiency with PioneerRx, as the pharmacist covering during this period is not familiar with the system. Training will be provided from June 22nd to 24th to help you get acclimated.

Location: Broadlands, VA
Dates: June 22, 2026 July 11, 2026
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM 6 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM 1 PM
• Sundays: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications using the PioneerRx system
• Manage prescription refill requests and maintain customer records
• Support pharmacists in daily retail pharmacy operations
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries efficiently
• Assist with inventory management and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting
• Demonstrated proficiency with the PioneerRx software system (required)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
