Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pharmacy technical and clerical duties under pharmacist supervision, including preparing, labeling, packaging, and staging prescriptions.
• Process prescription batches accurately, enter data, and generate labels, pick lists, and shipping documentation using the CareTend system.
• Collaborate with intake, billing, and field teams to ensure insurance authorizations are confirmed and prescriptions are delivered correctly.
• Manage inventory by receiving drug and supply deliveries, handling returns, and coordinating outbound shipments.
• Conduct quality assurance activities and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to stay current with pharmacy practices.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid New York Pharmacy Technician License required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail, hospital, or specialty pharmacy settings.
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work within a team.
• Demonstrated commitment to HIPAA compliance and maintaining patient confidentiality.
