Location: Palo Alto, CA (Nearby Fremont, CA preferred candidates)

Type: Contract (~6 months)

Schedule:

• Late 2nd shift, starting around 4 PM
• Shift runs through approximately 1 AM to 2 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications for pediatric patients in a 300-bed childrens hospital setting.
• Assist pharmacists with daily operations, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
• Utilize EPIC software to manage prescription processing and inventory control.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to support optimal patient care and safety.

Desired Qualifications:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with experience in hospital pharmacy operations.
• Prior exposure to pediatric pharmacy, understanding the unique needs of childrens medication.
• Proficiency in using EPIC or similar electronic medical records and pharmacy systems.
• Flexibility to work late evening shifts and adapt to a high-paced hospital environment.
