Pharmacy Technician | Frisco, Texas

A behavioral health clinic in Plano is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a temp-to-perm opportunity. This role requires efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment serving patients with behavioral health needs. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8 AM to 5 PM with a one-hour lunch break, providing a stable weekday routine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense and fill prescriptions in a timely manner
• Perform data entry tasks related to prescription processing
• Manage inventory to maintain appropriate medication stock levels
• Provide support for prior authorizations to ensure seamless prescription approvals
• Answer patient phone calls, delivering courteous and informative customer service related to clinic pharmacy needs

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings such as Walmart, CVS, or Walgreens
• Clear and active Texas Pharmacy Technician license
• National certification from PTCB or NHA is required
• Demonstrated empathy and professionalism when working with behavioral health patients
• Spanish language skills are highly advantageous and welcomed
