Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician - Frisco, Texas

This opportunity is for a Compounding Pharmacy Technician on a 13-week contract, based in Frisco, TX. There are five positions available, offering a dynamic schedule with two shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and three shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This role is ideal for pharmacy technicians who specialize in home infusion and compounding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications and supplies, complying with company policies, procedures, and state regulations.
• Accurately compound and prepare medications, ensuring proper pharmaceutical calculations for dosage accuracy.
• Label and package medications correctly.
• Identify, document, and report medication-related incidents.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of pharmacy work surfaces and laminar flow hoods.
• Inspect pharmacy equipment regularly for malfunctions and report any issues.
• Maintain and document pharmacy temperature logs and cleaning records.
• Support general pharmacy organization and compliance efforts.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license for Texas.
• Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
• IV Certification is mandatory.

Schedule:

• 2 shifts: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• 3 shifts: 12:00 PM 8:00 PM
