Pharmacy Technician - Garland, TX

This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician position based in Plano, TX, supporting a behavioral health clinic conveniently located near Hwy 75 and Legacy. The role follows a Monday through Friday schedule, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a one-hour lunch break, making it ideal for those seeking consistent day hours. Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing and accurately filling prescriptions with speed and efficiency
• Performing data entry tasks to maintain accurate records
• Handling patient phone calls professionally and compassionately
• Managing medication inventory within the clinic setting
• Providing support for prior authorizations to ensure timely medication access
• Delivering excellent customer service tailored to a behavioral health population

Desired qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in high-volume retail pharmacy environments such as Walmart, CVS, or Walgreens
• Possession of a clear and active Texas Pharmacy Technician license
• National certification through PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) or NHA (National Healthcareer Association)
• Strong empathy and communication skills for working with patients in behavioral health settings
• Spanish language skills are highly valued and considered a significant plus
