Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician in Garland, TX

This opportunity is for experienced Pharmacy Technicians skilled in home infusion and prescription compounding to contribute to a specialized pharmacy setting. We have 5 openings for a contract assignment lasting approximately 13 weeks in Garland, TX.

Schedule:

• Two shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Three shifts per week from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately compound, prepare, and process medications according to company policies and state regulations
• Assist pharmacists with medication dispensing and supply preparation
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations to verify medication dosages
• Properly label and package compounded medications
• Participate in identifying and documenting medication-related incidents to maintain safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitize work surfaces, including laminar flow hoods
• Inspect pharmacy equipment regularly and report any malfunctions or defects
• Maintain temperature logs, cleaning records, and assist with overall pharmacy compliance and organization

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License
• PTCB certification
• IV Certification for compounding and home infusion
