Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician - Helotes, Texas

This opportunity is for a Compounding Pharmacy Technician available for a 13-week contract assignment in Helotes, TX. There are 3-4 positions open offering a variety of shifts: one role from 7 AM to 3:30 PM and 2-3 roles from 12 PM to 8 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately compound, prepare, and process prescriptions in compliance with company policies and state regulations
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and supplies
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations to ensure precise dosages
• Label and package medications appropriately
• Identify, document, and report medication-related incidents
• Clean and sanitize pharmacy work areas, including laminar flow hoods
• Inspect pharmacy equipment and report malfunctions
• Maintain temperature logs and cleaning records
• Support general pharmacy organization and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Texas
• Certification from PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board)
• IV Certification required
