Per Diem Retail Pharmacy Tech | Herndon, Virginia

A retail pharmacy in the Broadlands area seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician to provide crucial support during a short-term assignment from June 22 to July 11, 2026. This per diem role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced retail environment while working closely with pharmacy staff. The pharmacist covering the location will be unfamiliar with the system, so your knowledge of PioneerRx is essential to ensure smooth daily operations.

Location:

• Broadlands, VA (near Herndon)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 1:00 PM
• Sundays: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and fill prescriptions using PioneerRx pharmacy software
• Assist with inventory management and medication dispensing
• Provide excellent customer service and answer questions professionally
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain workflow and compliance with regulations
• Train or guide pharmacist as needed with PioneerRx system functionalities

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting
• Strong proficiency in the PioneerRx system (REQUIRED)
