Retail LTC Pharmacy Technician | Hillsboro, Oregon

This position offers an opportunity for a knowledgeable Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in Portland, OR. Working primarily within retail and long-term care settings, the role focuses on safe medication distribution and providing clear information to patients and healthcare providers alike. The assignment is contracted and requires reliable availability during weekday business hours.

Schedule & Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Coverage from mid-July through mid-August

Responsibilities:

• Accurately distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other authorized healthcare practitioners
• Counsel customers on medication usage and answer questions, promoting safe and effective treatment
• Deliver high-quality customer service by responding promptly and compassionately to client needs
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and procedures

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician License is required
• Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care pharmacy preferred
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain medication information clearly
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and safety in medication handling
• Professional demeanor with a focus on customer care
